When we have wronged someone, we should be humble enough to recognize our wrongs and to repent, but what does that look like? More than feeling sorry for the wrong, true repentance seeks to make the one who has been harmed whole again. Sometimes through restitution or other actions, the offender who is truly penitent seeks to take steps to make up for the wrong they perpetrated.
This week at 10:45 am, we will witness a righteous response to Nehemiah's rebuke of the rich in Jerusalem. Confronted with their sin, these nobles humbled themselves and made things right.
