While in the wilderness, God desired to dwell among His people. He gave instructions to Moses to build the tabernacle. God gifted men with talents to build the tabernacle where God could dwell among His people. Those men who  used their gifts to serve the Lord. In the same way God gives us gifts and talents, too, and we should use them for God's glory.
